The New Lateral Hiring Code: Landing and Integrating the Free-Agent Lateral
Course Description:
Lateral hiring may be on the rise, but the rules have changed. In fact, a new "lateral hiring code" has emerged, and it brings with it new protocols and priorities that have rewritten the rules of engagement.
There’s been a shift in economic control from the firm to the free-agent lateral and it covers all the elements of firm culture, career track, personal development, integration and compensation.
Today, every issue is negotiable according to the new code and it’s significantly changed the game for everyone.
CoursE highlights:
This comprehensive audio conference will explore how smart firms are taking advantage of this game-changing growth opportunity. During this must-attend session, our expert faculty will also discuss what it takes to land and successfully integrate today’s lateral talent, including:
- What today’s free-agent lateral really cares about (hint: it’s not just the money)
- What are the drivers behind this game-changing lateral hiring shift
- Tips for assessing firm needs and translating them into lateral hire criteria
- Which new methods are most successful for identifying potential hiring targets and why the old methods are less viable in today’s market
- Which key elements candidates are weighing most when it comes to firm culture
- What new free agent laterals are looking for in terms of career tracks and integration
- Why compensation is not the only ‘golden carrot’ for this new breed, and where their priorities lie
