Minimize Workers’ Comp Costs by Avoiding Common Mistakes and Utilizing Preventative Measures
This program Has been Cancelled
Course Description:
It’s bound to happen…employees get injured on the job. And whether it’s just a scrape, a fall, or a back injury the costs can be exorbitant for any organization.
Consider the average cost for carpal tunnel surgery is $29,000. But that’s just a portion of the costs of the injury. You’ll spend three to five times that on indirect costs such as productivity loss, rehiring, retraining and overtime.
While early intervention programs such as ergonomic training and employee safety courses have proven to lower overall expenditures, employers still make crucial, but correctable mistakes when faced with workers’ compensation cases.
Join CCM’s expert faculty for this must-attend audio conference where you’ll learn the latest prevention techniques to dramatically reduce risks, lower workers’ compensation claims, and decrease litigation costs.
Plus, in just 75 minutes, you’ll discover:
- The facts and myths about workers’ compensation laws and benefits
- The variety of preventative programs available in the marketplace and how to implement them
- The immediate steps you need to take to avoid a lawsuit
- How to communicate with employees in order to avoid hidden expenditures
- The basics needed for a successful return-to-work program
- How to avoid mistakes employers routinely make that increase unnecessary lost time
- How to determine which route to take when dealing with a claim
