Wellness Plans and the Law: How to Eliminate Legal Pitfalls
Course Description:
With health benefit costs through the roof, it’s no wonder wellness programs are all the rage. Employers and employees alike rave about improved health, increased productivity, and dramatic cost savings. In fact, research shows a properly implemented wellness program could reach an ROI of up to 300 percent.
So with everyone doing the healthful, happy dance, what could go wrong? Plenty…
Your company’s wellness program may open you up to some serious legal trouble. Crafting a legally sound program is essential to avoiding hefty fines and a tarnished company reputation.
In this invaluable audio program, CCM’s faculty experts will guide you through the legal complexities involved with wellness plans and provide you with the tools you need to limit your legal risks.
Program participants will learn:
- Updates on recent judicial & legislative developments and how they figure into your plan
- How to identify legal risks not related to your health plan
- Strategies to limit tax penalties for failing to properly report and withhold income and employment taxes
- Specific examples of compliant wellness programs working today
Plus, you’ll get the answers to your specific questions in the live Q&A session following the program. |
