Phased Retirement: Solutions to Overcome Obstacles and Implement an Effective Program
Course Description:
How are you coping with the aging workforce? Flexible workplace initiatives? A phased retirement program?
Unfortunately, implementing a formal phased retirement plan is much easier said than done. In fact, the design of your pension plan itself could be a barrier to phased retirement. Add IRS regulations, hidden costs and lack of information resources and even the most ambitious plan may never materialize.
Join CCM and our expert faculty in this must-attend audio program to learn fundamental steps, key strategies and innovative best practices to implement a successful phased retirement plan. In just 75 minutes, you’ll also learn:
- How formal and informal phased retirement programs work
- What steps are required to prepare a useful phased retirement program
- How the Pension Protection Act of 2006 and IRS phased retirement regulations should figure into your plans
- Best practice strategies to find out what your older employees want in a phased retirement program
- Legal issues associated with phased retirement plans
- How your plan could affect health insurance, life insurance, and disability coverage
Plus, you’ll get the answers to your specific questions in the live Q&A session following the course presentation.
