Session 2:
Organizational Crisis Management: The Human Factor
This critical program will provide you with relatively low cost, and easy to implement approaches to alleviate the often long-ranging effects of crises on the workforce, including:
- Gain insight into the wide range of events that may impact the emotional well-being of the work force
- Identify key components to include in your contingency plan pre-incident strategies and post-incident services to mitigate the impact on employees
- Understand the return on investment (ROI) of human factor issues – and why you can’t ignore them!
- Learn about the Human Impact Assessment Tool (HIAT) that may used to facilitate an analysis of potential impact on personnel
Most continuity/resiliency plans prioritize infrastructure, IT and security, while minimal significance is given to the human factor. But what recent catastrophes have shown us is that, with planning, you can get the phone lines back up and have the computers backed up. But your employees and their families may continue to experience hardship from the crisis – causing bottom line hardship to your organization with unplanned absences and disrupted workflow.
