Kathy D. Gromoll started her own firm, KDG Human Resource Consulting, Inc., in 2000 in Phoenix, Arizona before moving her practice to the Austin, Texas area in 2004. Prior to starting her own business, she served several years as a senior consultant and Vice President for another consulting firm in the Phoenix, Arizona area. She has worked in various human resource capacities both at the divisional and corporate level for a number of well-known companies such as CalComp (a Lockheed Division), Glendale Federal Savings & Loan, Transamerica Life Companies (Occidental), KM&G Advertising, and Burns International Security.
As a management consultant, she works on projects such as management benefit and incentive programs, affirmative action programs, wage and benefits surveys, performance review systems, wage and hour audits, employee manuals, investigation of discrimination charges, and employee opinion surveys. She conducts public workshops and develops customized training programs. She also provides outplacement counseling services, facilitates management meetings and retreats, and works with managers and business owners to resolve people issues. Her background includes experience with both domestic and international locations and experience as an expert witness in the area of Human Resources.
