Bulletproof Documentation: Creating Clear, Concise, Legally Air-Tight Write-Ups
Course Description:
What are the three words that your employment counsel always says? It's not “I love you,” but “document, document, document.”
Despite this advice, many organizations either fail to document or do not document correctly… and poor documentation can be just as hazardous to your company as no documentation at all.
Chances are, you know that you should have solid documentation of employee behavior but, for one reason or another, it’s not occurring on a consistent basis throughout your organization.
Whether the lack of proper documentation can be attributed to laziness (managers don’t bother to write information down at the time it occurs), fear (managers are afraid to be honest about an employee's shortcomings), or just plain ignorance (managers are not even aware that they should be documenting or what that documentation should contain), incorrect documentation can land your company in hot water.
Find out how to document employee performance, behaviors and discipline in the most clear, accurate and legally safe way possible. In this comprehensive audio conference, our expert faculty will provide you with the strategy and direction to develop a documentation procedure that works for your company and will help protect your organization from liability.
