Course Description:

Have you modified your company’s policies and procedures to ensure they’re up to date on all employment laws?

Your HR policies and practices may have once been compliant with federal and state legislation, but with the flurry of new regulations and the current administration’s legal changes are you sure they’re in compliance now?

Research shows that even the most conscientious employers miss or misapply one or more of the many varied and complex employment laws. And it’s only gotten more complicated with every regulatory shift.

  • Where to begin your audit – and what to include
  • Confidentiality issues: Who should be involved in an HR audit
  • How to identify the key audit areas, including pre-employment, wage-and-hour compliance, state and federal regulations, and more
  • ADA, FLSA and other federal regulations: Tricky areas for all employers
