Joan was a senior partner at Thompson Coburn, the largest law firm in St. Louis. As a member of the firm’s Management Committee, she was responsible for training and developing young lawyers. After 30 years of practicing law, she founded her consulting firm that provides group training and individual coaching services to law firms and other professional organizations. Her services focus on the leadership and professional development skills necessary to be successful, and her sessions include topics such as time management, learning how to supervise and delegate, building and maintaining relationships within the organization, writing skills, and business development.
Ms. Newman received both her law degree and Masters in Tax Law from Washington University School of Law, and undergraduate degree from Case-Western Reserve University.
