Goal Setting Secrets that Get Results and Inspire Excellence

Course Description:

How do you inspire others to achieve Team or Organizational goals?  How do sell the vision, keep them focused, and gain their buy-in?

Goal setting is crucial for business success. Yet many organizations and managers often fail to achieve goals and strategic planning targets.  Why?

  • some goals are unrealistic,
  • they fail to consider resources and capabilities, and
  • employees don’t believe the rewards equal the energy needed to achieve them.

Learning which goals are deal-breakers and inspiring your team to get projects done on-time and on-target requires specific skills, an understanding of your employees and key management know-how.

In this power-packed audio conference, you’ll learn practical tools and methods you can use to:

  • achieve goals and inspire excellence from your direct reports,
  • kick-start team productivity and effectiveness, and
  • reinforce every individual’s role in attaining personal, team and organizational goals.

During this hands-on session, you’ll also learn:

  • What defines an effective goal
  • Best practices for moving beyond the business plan to execution
  • Why and how to narrow the number of goals for success
  • Methods to motivate even the most difficult employee to meet goals
  • Why intimidation doesn’t work
  • Which goals deliver the highest return on time invested
  • How to engage management and associate projects with organizational goals
  • Methods for tracking team execution, speed and accountability
  • Common goal roadblocks and ways to avoid them
