Goal Setting Secrets that Get Results and Inspire Excellence
Course Description:
How do you inspire others to achieve Team or Organizational goals? How do sell the vision, keep them focused, and gain their buy-in?
Goal setting is crucial for business success. Yet many organizations and managers often fail to achieve goals and strategic planning targets. Why?
- some goals are unrealistic,
- they fail to consider resources and capabilities, and
- employees don’t believe the rewards equal the energy needed to achieve them.
Learning which goals are deal-breakers and inspiring your team to get projects done on-time and on-target requires specific skills, an understanding of your employees and key management know-how.
In this power-packed audio conference, you’ll learn practical tools and methods you can use to:
- achieve goals and inspire excellence from your direct reports,
- kick-start team productivity and effectiveness, and
- reinforce every individual’s role in attaining personal, team and organizational goals.
During this hands-on session, you’ll also learn:
- What defines an effective goal
- Best practices for moving beyond the business plan to execution
- Why and how to narrow the number of goals for success
- Methods to motivate even the most difficult employee to meet goals
- Why intimidation doesn’t work
